Cameras

Canon T3i & Canon T2i

Our two main cameras are DSLRs. They provide 2 main advantages when shooting video due to their large sensor size. First is the excellent low-light performance which is perfect for dark churches and reception halls. The second advantage is a shallow depth-of-field that provides beautiful out-of-focus backgrounds. We have a variety of lenses so that we can shoot the perfect video in any situation.

JVC GY-HM100U

A small but powerful Full-HD camera. It features 3-CCDs to capture vibrant colors along with 2 SD card slots that allow for virtually limitless continuous recording.

Canon HV30

Another small camera that shoots excellent HDV footage. Perfect as a "lock-off" camera that shoots static wide shots.

GoPro

A tiny, full HD camera that can be hidden almost anywhere. We use the GoPro to get unique camera angles and time-lapse videos.

Davis and Sanford Tripods

We use Davis and Sanford fluid-head tripods. Their smooth panning and tilting action provide excellent tracking shots of your processional and more.

Audio

Zoom H4n

An audio recorder that allows us to record a direct line from the churches sound-system and the from the DJ.

Zoom H1

A smaller audio recorder that gives us lots of recording options including recording live bands.

Audio-Technica ATR55

We own several of these shotgun mics that allow us to capture audio from straight ahead while canceling out unwanted audio from the audience.

Shockmounts

We mount our shotgun mics in shockmounts so that they are isolated from external vibrations. Someone bumps the tripod? No problem because the shockmount with make sure the mic picks up none of that noise.

Audio-Technica Pro88W Wireless Mic

If needed, we can set up either the pastor or the groom with a wireless mic. It stays concealed so it won't look bad on your expensive tuxes while at the same time picking up great audio from your vows.
